Upscale Investments (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Upscale Investments mobile application (the “App”). We value your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we handle information. This Privacy Policy explains what (if any) information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Our App is designed to be usable without collecting personal data. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information automatically. We only receive personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us.

Examples of when we may receive personal information:

  • You contact us via WhatsApp from within the App. In that case, WhatsApp handles your contact information according to its policies.
  • You voluntarily provide your contact details or investment preferences because you want us to assist you with mutual funds, SIPs, insurance, PMS, or other services.

We do not collect or store sensitive financial identifiers (for example, bank account numbers or PAN) in the app unless explicitly and voluntarily provided as part of a service request, in which case you will be informed how that information will be used.

2. How we use information

If you share personal information with us (for example, by contacting us via WhatsApp), we may use that information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide investment guidance;
  • Assist you with services such as mutual fund selection, SIP calculations, insurance or PMS introductions;
  • Send you information related to the services you requested, only when you consent to receive such communication.

We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

3. Data storage and sharing

Information you voluntarily provide to us will be treated as confidential. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We will only share personal information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or with third parties who are providing services on our behalf and who agree to keep the data confidential.

Note: communications via WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy and practices. We are not responsible for how WhatsApp processes or stores messages.

4. Third-party services and links

The App may include links to third-party services (for example, external financial calculators or fund information pages). These third parties have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each website or service you visit.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect information that you provide to us. However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute data security and you share information at your own risk.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have unintentionally received personal information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete that information.

7. Your choices

You may choose not to provide personal information when using the App. If you decide to contact us, you may request that we correct, update, or delete your personal information by emailing us (see contact details below).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
